A Sales Manager with exhibition and sponsorship sales experience is required to drive the development of a new launch event / expo. You’ll manage a sales team, develop new business and take the lead on some high-profile accounts within a rapidly growing and successful B2B event organiser of exhibitions and conferences for the public sector.
You’ll be leading a sales team of two, working alongside the Event Director and the show team to deliver target revenues. This is hands-on position, ensuring that the sales team operates with maximum efficiency in resourcing, performance, motivation and skill sets. You’ll need to be a confident Sales Manager with experience in motivating a sales team and your own proven sales record.
You’ll need to be a clear communicator and motivator with the ability to inspire a team and deliver great results within fast-paced and varied environment. You’ll need strong knowledge of the trade show environment and will be required to visit competitive events as well as consultative selling face-to-face. You’ll need extensive experience in selling exhibition space and sponsorship.
