We’re looking for an exceptional, switched-on Marketing Assistant to play an integral role in marketing a portfolio of Bridal exhibitions and events.

You’ll be working for an award-winning and ever-expanding events and publishing company in London, which specialises in creating industry-leading exhibitions, conferences, awards and publications.

The Role:

Our client is looking for a dedicated Marketing Assistant / Marketing Executive to support the senior marketing team across the bridal portfolio. This role requires some overnight travel across the UK and working some weekends during events. Time worked will be given be in lieu and travel fully expensed.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Support the Head of Content & Marketing in the implementation of the marketing plan, strategy and communications campaigns
  • Work with the Content Editor to create weekly e-newsletters - analysing open and click-through rates and using this information to improve newsletter strategy on an ongoing basis
  • Work with the Content Editor to execute the brand social media strategy, with the goal of increasing brand awareness and building an online community
  • Work with the Content Editor to produce minor site content e.g. short news, press release rewrites, cross-brand content
  • Work with the sales team to produce 8 product alerts a year, recruitment adverts, solus e-shots and sales support e-shots on request
  • Manage all updates on the portfolio websites; maintain the exhibitor/directory listings, create/update enhanced directories, optimise images for collection coverage, maintain the ‘opportunities’ section and ensure all content is relevant and up-to-date
  • Manage the exhibitor VIP nomination programme; encourage exhibitor nominations and liaise with nominated retailers
  • Exhibitor liaison; point of contact for exhibitor marketing enquiries, chasing exhibitors for images/online profiles etc. as required
  • Manage mailing lists and department data projects as required
  • Attend exhibitions, competitor events and meetings where required
