We're looking for a switched-on Exhibition Operations Executive to join a global organisation, running exhibitions / expos / trade shows across the globe.

You'll need previous exposure within an exhibitions setting as an Operations Assistant or similar.

The Role:

To provide support and assistance to the Head of Operations in all aspects of event operations for the Exhibition's worldwide portfolio. The individual has the chance to experience operations from initial concept to onsite (if required) and post show. The role also involves providing customer service to international client base of exhibitors and visitors.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Assisting the Head of Operations with operational activities relating to the exhibitions
  • Maintain the operations database/spreadsheet, cross-checking information and updating records
  • Ensure the show floor plans are up-to-date, amending where necessary
  • Creation and sending of exhibitor manuals, involving liaison with official contractors and venues
  • Responsible in ensuring stand plans and order forms are returned by deadlines
  • Organise and manage special projects relating to the exhibition; social events, theatres, workshops
  • Customer service role to the exhibitors, providing assistance and answering queries
  • Update and managing cost comparison data, show to show
  • Reporting to Manager on budget/cost control of special projects
  • Overseas travelling and weekend working may be required

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an exhibitions setting (ops assistant or similar)
  • Excellent communicator with happy to help personality. Able to respond well to pressure
  • Works well in a team and with wide range of people (different nationalities)
  • Organised, patient and methodical
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative
  • Well presented with professional manner
  • Languages (Spanish and/or German) are a bonus
