A fantastic exhibition Sales Manager position for a rapidly growing exhibition company based in London. This role is perfect for a driven, ambitious and experienced sales professional with a proven commercial record in events/sponsorship sales or similar.

The role:

You’ll join a close-knit team, working on an exhibition which is one of the largest in its sector. You’ll be required to co-ordinate the sales team, ensuring the market is being covered and targets are set and met. You’ll also be required, with the Divisional Director, to help coach and motivate the team as well as leading by example with your own personal sales and work rate.

You’ll need:

  • To be a hard-working, ambitious and driven sales professional
  • Superb ability in selling over the phone, in face-to-face meetings and at competitor trade shows
  • Previous experience in managing a sales team or the drive and ability to take that next step
  • At least 3 years’ experience in commercial roles. Sector experience is a plus, further details provided upon qualification

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building relationships with exhibitors (including face to face) to improve market knowledge retention ratio, selling sponsorship and value-added services
  • Updating & extending prospects database & delivering sales objectives in quality & quantity based on proposed commercial plan using market knowledge of designated sector
  • Improving retention ratio and sales of sponsorship/value added services across team
  • Responsible for the completeness of the entries of potential and confirmed exhibitors in CRM and subsequent paperwork
  • Responsible for achieving sales target
  • Responsible for managing sales staff
