Fantastic opportunity for an Exhibition Sales Executive / Sales Manager to work on the world’s largest portfolio of Oil & Gas Storage exhibitions across multiple global editions.

You’ll need to be a highly motivated, self-sufficient and organised Media Sales Professional with an exceptional sales record and experience in an exhibition / events sales environment. Market knowledge of industrial / oil and gas sectors is a bonus.

The Role:

The role would be a combination of new business development and account management, selling across four exhibitions in three continents.

It is a perfect role for a hard-working, ambitious, driven sales professional who is happy to conduct sales over the phone & via email, as well as travelling the world: conducting face to face meetings, attending competitor trade shows and scheduling business development road trips

  • The salary on offer is £30,000 - £35,000 basic with uncapped commission opportunities.
  • You’ll earn £100 commission for every 9 square metres sold, 10% commission on all sponsorship sold and onsite bonuses for hitting rebook targets

Key requirements:

  • 3-5 year’s exhibition industry experience within a commercial sales role
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Customer-focussed with strong relationship and communication skills
  • Resilient and results-driven with a passion for always delivering excellence
  • Good aptitude to interact, cooperate and influence others to adopt new approaches, ways of working.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work self-sufficiently, overcoming objections and obstacles

What you’ll be doing:

  • In charge of updating & extending prospects database & delivering sales objectives,  based on a proposed commercial plan using market knowledge of designated sector (competitive events, trends, innovations, key stakeholders, media...) led by Event Director. Feed marketing with needs.
  • Build sustainable relationships with exhibitors (incl. face to face) to improve market knowledge retention ratio, selling sponsoring and value added services.
  • Global travel to see customers, competitive tradeshows and generation of new business.
  • Responsible for the administration of potential and confirmed exhibitors in the CRM system and subsequent paperwork once a deal has been made.
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets, both individual and as a team.
  • Responsible for working cohesively and as a team alongside 4 other sales staff
